A Very, Very Late goal secured a point and a continued unbeaten run with a 2-2 draw at Occupation Road last night. Cooks took the lead through Darren Frost- [A Player who looks to be a real find for Cooks after signing from Wellingborough] broke the deadlock. But two goals on each side of half time took the Foundrymen in the lead however a late strike from Nick Kingston secured a point going back to the village.

COGENHOE UNITED 0-1 NORTHAMPTON SPENCER: The Cooks went out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle for the 2nd time in a row after crashing out after a single goal to Local rivals Northampton Spencer.

ITV Anglia starts at 6pm every weekday night.
Cooks on TV TONIGHT: Cogenhoe and Local rivals Northampton Spencer will be on ITV Angila News at 6pm for a Preview of Saturday's FA Cup Extra Preliminary round tie at Compton Park.During their day in this Part of Northamptonshire ITV they are going to the Mill to interview Spencer boss Rob Gould before coming to the Club to interview Darren Collins and Phil Cassidy and will also do some filming of our new facilities and training!!!
